While we strive to deliver seamless and enjoyable experiences, Travellers should review all excursion descriptions, requirements, and policies carefully to ensure the Services meet their expectations.
1.3 To enhance visibility and accessibility, Excursions listed on www.smartworldtravels.com may also be displayed across third-party platforms, applications, and advertisements, both online and offline. For the convenience of Travellers speaking various languages, Excursions may be translated into other languages, though Smart World cannot guarantee the accuracy of translations and advises Travellers to verify details in their preferred language.
1.4 Smart World may include links to third-party websites or resources (Third-Party Services) for supplementary information. However, these are provided for reference only, and Smart World is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of such Third-Party Services.

Maintenance, capacity limits, or technical requirements may necessitate temporary restrictions. 7. Booking Terms
7.1 Travellers can book Excursions directly on www.smartworldtravels.com by following the booking process outlined on the platform. All fees, including taxes (Total Fees), will be displayed prior to booking, and Travellers agree to pay these Total Fees for any confirmed booking.
7.2 Upon booking confirmation, Smart World assumes responsibility for delivering the confirmed Excursion, subject to any additional terms specified at the time of booking. This includes adhering to applicable cancellation policies, rules, and restrictions set forth in the booking details.
7.3 When booking on behalf of additional Travellers, the primary Traveller is responsible for ensuring that all participants meet any minimum requirements outlined in the Excursion description, including age, fitness, or proficiency levels. Travellers must also disclose any medical or physical conditions that may affect participation to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
7.4 Travellers are expected to follow Smart World’s instructions during the Excursion. Any deviation from these instructions must not jeopardize the safety or experience of others.
8. Booking Modifications, Rescheduling, and Payment Terms
8.1 Booking Status
This proposal is submitted for preliminary planning purposes only. At this stage, no flights, accommodations, or ground arrangements have been reserved. Rates provided are subject to change based on market conditions. Final rates will be confirmed upon receiving your written confirmation to proceed with the booking.
- All bookings must be confirmed in writing at least 30 days prior to departure.
- Last-minute bookings (within 30 days of departure) will be reviewed and handled on a case-by-case basis.
- Travellers must ensure all personal information is accurate at the time of booking to avoid additional charges.
8.2 Payment Procedures

Full payment is required upon confirmation of the booking. Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, or bank transfer (FPX), and additional fees may apply for modifications to the booking.
8.3. Rescheduling Policy
Smart World does not offer refunds for cancellations. Instead, we provide rescheduling options based on the following terms:
1. More than 30 days before departure: No additional charges for rescheduling
2. 10 to 30 days before departure: A rescheduling fee of 30% of the total booking cost applies.
3. Less than 10 days before departure: A rescheduling fee of 50% of the total booking cost applies.
All rescheduling requests must be made in writing and are subject to availability. Final confirmation will be provided after the request is reviewed.
8.4 Itinerary Flexibility Clause
Smart World reserves the right to modify itineraries where necessary due to weather or road conditions.
2. Accommodation changes may be made due to unavailability or room issues, with prior notice to the Traveller. Smart World will endeavor to secure accommodations of similar or better standards but cannot guarantee exact replacements.
3. For bedding preferences, where triple or quadruple rooms are unavailable, twin rooms may be adapted to include one or two additional beds to accommodate guests.
8.5 Dynamic Pricing Provision
Package prices are based on the current MYR currency exchange rate and are subject to adjustment based on fluctuations. Smart World reserves the right to revise package prices, providing a minimum of seven (7) days’ notice before the flight date.
8.6 Special Notes for Non-Malaysian Citizens
Travellers who are not Malaysian citizens must contact our customer service team at i-operations1@smartworldtravels.com for assistance in arranging necessary documentation.
9. Unacceptable Activity
9.1 You must refrain from engaging in activities that are inappropriate, unlawful, or prohibited under applicable laws, including but not limited to:
1. Violating the privacy or legal rights of individuals (e.g., uploading private information without consent).
2. Using this website to defame or libel us, our employees, or other individuals.
3. Uploading files containing viruses or other harmful software that may damage our property or that of others.
4. Posting or transmitting unauthorized material to this website, including content that is, in our opinion, defamatory, obscene, racist, threatening, pornographic, annoying, or otherwise detrimental to our systems, third-party systems, or network security.
